The Montenegrin Company „13 Jul-Plantaze” for over fifty years is one of the most important and the largest producer of grapes, wines and grape brandy in South-Eastern Europe. On the Eastern side of Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, appears a hill “Sipcanik” from the last rows of wine grapes. Take the opportunity to take a tour through the former military airfield, contemporary turned into a unique Wine Treasury. More than two million liters of wine are aging in wooden barrels in the middle of the vineyard in the same land and the same stones where the grapevine grows.

A specific geographical location – the crossroads of the coastal and mountainous regions – Podgorica, as the capital of Montenegro, occupies an important place in all tourist routes of the wider area. You will get a panoramic ride through the city, then a stop at the Clock tower, which is one of the oldest symbols of the city and the most beautiful example of the Ottoman period architecture. After the break, you will visit the Temple of Christ’s Resurrection – a unique religious building known throughout Europe for its beauty and monumentality.

EXCURSION PROGRAM:

• The trip starts at 8:15 am from Tivat and continues over Budva to Cetinje, with a unique view on the landscape of Budva Riviera.
• 5 km far from Cetinje at around 10:15 am, in front of the Lipa cave you‘ll feel a difference in temperature, here you‘ll get a 1 hour exciting walk trough the underground world, where you‘ll see all the creative power of nature.
• Arrival at the unique wine cellar “Sipcanik” is planned around 12:15 pm. Here you’ll get 2 hours to see vineyard touristic train ride and to see the cellar with a pleasant tasting.
• Arrival in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro and the most populated town is at around 2:30 pm. After a panoramic tour of the city and a 1 hour free time at the Clock Tower, you will visit the Temple of Christ's Resurrection, which is a unique religious object known by its monumentality, architecture and artistic significance, with construction period of 20 years.
• Return to Tivat through Niksic is planned at around 8:30 pm.
